The Global Standard Classification of Occupations (GSCO) is a research and aggregation tool. It is not an official registry, and the information presented here has no legal force.

GSCO aggregates data from authoritative sources including the International Labour Organization (ILO ISCO-08), the European Commission's ESCO classification, national statistical offices, and Wikidata. Each entry's metadata indicates its provenance — the original authoritative source.

For authoritative use — including legal, immigration, insurance, regulatory, census, or formal-recognition purposes — always refer to the original source cited in the entry's provenance metadata. The original source is the only legally binding reference.

GSCO is provided "as is" for research, educational, and informational purposes. Translations may be derived from authoritative national publications where available, or from machine-assisted processes; provenance is indicated per entry.

GSCO is an independent research initiative. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the International Labour Organization (ILO), the European Commission, or any national authority.

Translations of this disclaimer to additional languages will follow the multilingual paper editions.
